THE GUIDE TO TOURIST MANIFESTATIONS, authorial
work of MILANKA CVETKOVIC, published by GPR INTERNATIONAL.
The GUIDE, published twice a year, in June and December,
introduces in an attractive and modern way a number of cultural-artistic,
economic, sports, religious, entertaining and other manifestations
taking place in the country as well as abroad, aimed for
local and foreign professional audience, tourist organization,
tourist agencies, cultural-informative centers, embassies
and public in general.
The project crew has often been asked questions such as : Where do Bacon event and Sausage event take place?,... When is the mowing in Rajac?... Which painting colony is in July?.... Who are the organizers of the Drina, Morava and Danube regattas?...How can you find accomodation in Guca? How can you spend an interesting weekend?...Why don’t you visit Belgrade Beer Festival instead of Munich?
We have decided to answer to all these and many other questions
that you have about manifestations in the Guide. We are
certain that our public is not fully and duely informed
about all the aspects of manifestations, therefore this bilingual edition (Serbian and English) informs you in the best way about several hundred leading manifestations in the country. The magazine is printed in colour, B5 format, of modern design, while leading tourist experts, eminent journalists and manifestation adepts are involved in the team responbile for its preparation.
Aimed to present and promote tourist manifestations as a part of tourist offer of our country, the Guide contains an abundance of texts and photoes, monthly events calender, information about history, organizing, cultural-ethnological and tourist significance of the events alongside the characteristics of the eco and ethnic milieu.
Some space is devoted to some important manifestations in other countries. Special columns deal with news and curiosities in tourism, proposals for ephemeral picnics and excursions, weekend tours and mini vacations. We present you beauties of a large number of castles and fortresses through texts and photoes, and at the end you may find the address book of hotels, motels, lodging-houses and restaurants, as well as small tourist adverts.
